The Dubai International Financial Centre’s Innovation Hub, in collaboration with Capital.com, has introduced CapitalHer, a groundbreaking program aimed at empowering women in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The initiative seeks to equip women with the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience needed to take advantage of opportunities available in the financial markets.
CapitalHer is an intensive six-week accelerator-style training program set to commence in March 2026, specifically designed for female nationals of the GCC. The program combines financial education, hands-on practical learning, mentorship, and teamwork among participants.
Interested candidates can register for the program until March 30. Mohamed Al Balushi, CEO of the Innovation Hub at the Dubai International Financial Centre, stated, “CapitalHer reflects the role of the Innovation Hub as a platform where talent, innovation, and opportunities converge.”
He added, “By hosting this program, we enable women in the GCC to develop practical financial skills while gaining insight into one of the most dynamic fintech and innovation environments in the region. Initiatives like CapitalHer contribute to establishing a comprehensive financial ecosystem ready for the future, supporting talent development, responsible innovation, and sustainable economic growth.”
Additionally, Tarek Chabib, CEO of Capital.com for the Middle East and North Africa, remarked, “Education and responsible engagement are at the core of Capital.com’s mission. Through CapitalHer, we are not just talking about empowerment, but also providing a safe and structured space for women to learn, practice, and ask questions, while also granting access to mentors, immediate tools, and a supportive community of participants.”
