Domestic Tourism Drives Holiday Scene with 20% Discounts

Domestic tourism plays a crucial role in boosting hotel and travel activities during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, as a significant number of families and residents choose to spend their vacation within the country. In this context, several hotels and resorts have introduced special packages and promotional offers that feature competitive pricing on accommodations, with discounts of up to 20%, along with additional perks related to dining and recreational facilities, which enhance the appeal of hotel stays and increase demand during the holiday period.

According to industry sources within the tourism and hotel sector, the Eid al-Fitr holiday represents a significant seasonal period characterized by a noticeable rise in demand for hotel stays and leisure activities, driven by families and residents opting to enjoy their time off in the country and take advantage of the deals offered by hotels and resorts during this time.

They further added that hotels and resorts have made efforts to diversify their offers and packages to cater to different guest segments, including discounts on accommodation rates, as well as additional benefits such as complimentary meals for children and access to recreational facilities and family activities, which enhance the allure of hotel stays and promote spending the Eid holiday locally.

The sources highlighted that domestic tourism is fundamental in supporting the sustainability of the tourism and hospitality sectors, as it contributes to increasing occupancy rates and stimulating economic activity during holidays and events, in addition to encouraging residents to discover diverse cultural and entertainment attractions throughout various emirates of the country.

Increase in Search Activity
