Aramex Launches Its Regional Healthcare Center in Dubai South

Aramex has announced the launch of its specialized regional center for healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors within the Dubai South free zone, marking an expansion of the company’s capabilities in the rapidly growing life sciences and medical supply chain industry.

This development follows the recent accreditation of the warehouse by the Ministry of Health and Prevention of the UAE. The facility has a strategic location within the free zone and is designed to serve as a comprehensive regional hub for healthcare and pharmaceutical companies looking to leverage the advantages of the free zone.

Fadi Al-Qazi, Senior Logistics Manager at Aramex, stated, “With the establishment of our specialized healthcare center, we aim to enhance the standards of pharmaceutical logistics in the region. Our goal is to provide our healthcare partners with a flexible, regulatory-compliant, and fully integrated supply chain that enables them to serve patients more efficiently, with increased speed, safety, and reliability.”

The center offers integrated logistical solutions that assist companies in fully capitalizing on the strategic advantages of the area while addressing the priorities of senior executives, particularly in accelerating business growth. It also supplies supply chain managers, logistics directors, and operations with a regulatory-compliant, temperature-controlled infrastructure that enhances operational efficiency.

Additionally, quality managers and pharmacists are provided with a facility fully accredited by the Ministry of Health, operating according to Good Distribution Practice standards and ISO-certified quality systems. Thus, it offers healthcare providers a meticulously organized environment that ensures product safety throughout the distribution process.

The center covers an area of 5,600 square meters and is equipped with advanced temperature control environments, including room temperature storage, cold rooms, and freezing units to accommodate various temperature requirements for pharmaceutical products.

In line with Aramex’s broader strategy, the center consolidates a comprehensive package of logistics services, including shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and final delivery, within a unified and extensive operational system. This integration is designed to offer healthcare clients a consistent, regulatory-compliant, and highly reliable supply chain solution throughout the region.

With this new regional center, Aramex is not only expanding its operations but is also reinforcing its commitment to provide world-class logistics solutions that are regulatory-compliant and patient-centered across the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

As the demand for flexible and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical supply chains rises, the company is solidifying its position as a trusted partner capable of supporting the continuously evolving healthcare ecosystem in the region.
