Emirates Airlines Continues Its Flights to Most U.S. Destinations

Emirates Airlines Continues Major U.S. Operations Amid Geopolitical Challenges

Despite ongoing geopolitical issues in the Middle East, Emirates Airlines is maintaining the majority of its flight services to the United States.

Currently, the only route that remains suspended is the direct flight from Dubai International Airport to Orlando International Airport.

Emirates Airlines serves an extensive network of U.S. cities, with all flights departing from Dubai International and reaching significant destinations, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, and Boston. Orlando is still temporarily unavailable, while Newark flights may transit through Milan or Athens.

The suspension of the Orlando route is expected to be lifted on May 1, 2026, with six weekly flights scheduled, utilizing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, although the suspension could be extended depending on geopolitical developments.

Data indicates that approximately 80% of passengers traveling to Orlando use Dubai as a connecting point for their subsequent journeys to other destinations, particularly in India (Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Chennai) and Asia (Bali, Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, and Singapore).

According to analysis from Cirium, the Orlando route recorded about 133,000 round-trip passengers in 2025.

The ongoing flight network and continued operation of most U.S. routes highlight Dubai’s significance as a global hub for passengers and cargo, connecting the Middle East with Asia and Africa.

Passengers can also take advantage of connections with airline partners for travel to destinations in North America and Latin America.
