Issam Kazem, the CEO of the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing Authority, emphasized that Dubai is effectively managing current regional challenges while maintaining high levels of stability and security. In a video shared on Instagram by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Kazem explained that Dubai remains dedicated to its globally renowned principles of communication, openness, progress, and creating opportunities for everyone, including citizens, residents, visitors, and the business sector.
He also stressed the importance of accurately disseminating information, particularly in light of certain news reports that may exaggerate the situation. Kazem reassured that Dubai’s relevant authorities are focused on providing a clear and transparent portrayal of reality within the emirate.
Kazem pointed out that the safety of all citizens, residents, and visitors is a top priority, noting that federal and local authorities are making significant efforts and implementing advanced precautionary measures to ensure community safety and stability, while keeping everyone informed of developments through official channels.
He confirmed that Dubai has a robust and integrated system for addressing various challenges, with continuous coordination among government entities and partners across different sectors to ensure business continuity and provide necessary support to maintain economic and service stability.
Regarding daily life, Kazem mentioned that everything is proceeding normally, with public services, infrastructure, and tourism facilities operating at high efficiency. Hotels, restaurants, retail, and transportation sectors are fully operational and accessible to all without interruption.
In the aviation sector, he noted a strong gradual recovery in air traffic, spearheaded by Emirates Airlines and flydubai, expressing complete confidence in a return to normal operating levels.
Kazem highlighted Dubai’s diverse community, which includes around 200 nationalities living and working in harmony. He remarked that this social cohesion grows stronger in challenging times, illustrating a unique model of coexistence and openness.
