Rapid Growth and Record Participation in Make it in the Emirates

Hassan Jasim Al Nuaimi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, emphasized the crucial role of the industrial sector in the UAE, highlighting it as a foundational element for enhancing stability and sovereignty, while also supporting economic growth. This sector is key to increasing the national economy’s resilience against crises and geopolitical challenges.

During a press conference announcing the fifth edition of the “Make in the UAE” Conference and Exhibition, slated for May, Al Nuaimi revealed that this year’s event will showcase significant initiatives and major projects aimed at boosting domestic industrial content.

He also noted that a substantial increase in participation is expected, with a 42% rise compared to the previous edition. A total of 1022 companies will take part, with small and medium-sized enterprises making up approximately 60% of the participants, clearly indicating the growing importance of this sector in fostering industrial development.
