Dana Gas Resumes Operations at the Khormor Field in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region

Dana Gas has announced the resumption of its operational activities at the Khormor facility in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, following a period of intermittent operations over the past few weeks.

In a statement, the company indicated that the revival of activities was implemented after taking careful operational measures during the recent period, working closely with governmental authorities while prioritizing employee safety and asset protection.

The company had temporarily suspended production at the Khormor field on February 28, 2026, in full coordination with the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Electricity in the Kurdistan region, as a precautionary step in light of the ongoing regional security developments.
