Ports and Customs Strengthen Continuous Supply of Provisions and Fuel for Vessels in Dubai Ports and Anchorages

The Dubai Ports Authority has reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive maritime services to ships docked at the emirate’s ports, operating around the clock. This approach ensures efficient operations and the fulfillment of various maritime needs.

The authority emphasized that its advanced operational systems allow for a wide range of maritime services, including fuel supply, food and medical provisions, crew change services, and other operational requirements. These streamlined procedures contribute to enhanced operational efficiency.

In this context, Captain Ibrahim Al Blooshi, the Executive Director of the Dubai Ports Authority, stated that the initiative is part of the authority’s effort to raise awareness among stakeholders about the availability and continuity of services. He highlighted a proactive strategy for engaging ship operators and owners to meet their needs promptly.

He added, “We continue to offer flexible and responsive services that align with the demands of the maritime sector by connecting vessels with accredited service providers, facilitating access to various operational services efficiently and reliably. The authority also maintains constant coordination with service providers to ensure seamless operational processes, enhance resource readiness, and deliver high-quality services that meet vessel needs promptly under all conditions.”

Al Blooshi noted that the authority offers direct communication channels with relevant entities and service providers, enabling clients to coordinate their requests easily and efficiently. He emphasized that the customer service center operates 24/7 to ensure swift response times and high service quality.

The readiness and continuity of services by the Dubai Ports Authority are part of its ongoing efforts to support supply chains and enhance the fluidity of maritime traffic, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global maritime and logistics hub.
