Fly Dubai To Launch Daily Flights To Bangkok Next July

Flydubai has announced that it will begin flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok starting July 1, 2026. This will mark the airline’s second destination in Thailand, alongside Krabi.

The airline will operate daily flights between Dubai and Bangkok from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, further strengthening the air connectivity between Dubai and Southeast Asia.

These new flights will be part of a codeshare agreement with Emirates, allowing travelers to enjoy smooth connections through Dubai’s aviation hub and access a vast network of destinations.

In addition to its presence in Thailand, Flydubai is continuing to expand its operations in Southeast Asia, serving popular locations such as Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, the CEO of Flydubai, stated that this initiative reflects their ongoing commitment to providing more travel options for their passengers. As the demand for travel continues to recover, they are confident in the resilience of the tourism sector. The new service allows them to align operational capabilities with market demands, especially with the growing trade and travel traffic between the UAE and key global markets.

Sudir Sreedharan, the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Flydubai, emphasized that Bangkok remains a popular tourist destination. With the launch of daily flights, they aim to offer greater flexibility and convenience to travelers, especially during the peak summer travel season. They anticipate increasing flight frequencies in response to the rising demand on this route over the summer months.
