They highlighted that several key factors, such as proactive government support, world-class logistics infrastructure, and effective collaboration between the public and private sectors, have enabled the delivery industry to keep pace with the soaring demand from consumers and businesses, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability despite current global challenges.
They noted that Dubai has successfully established a business-friendly environment that fosters the growth and prosperity of the delivery sector, presenting a model for effective transportation and logistics services through the integration of flexible regulatory frameworks, advanced technology adoption, and strategic investments.
This combination has allowed companies in the delivery sector to ensure service continuity, bolster their capacity for growth and innovation, and solidify Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for logistics and trade. They also stressed that the close coordination led by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce has played a crucial role in supporting the operational needs of the sector, facilitating a unified and effective response to market changes.

Meherin Indriyas, Chairperson of the Delivery Business Group, stated that the emirate’s flexibility is rooted in its diverse supply chains, strategic geographical location, and forward-looking policies. She pointed out that Dubai’s flexible regulatory framework, coupled with close collaboration between the public and private sectors, has enhanced the ability to quickly respond to external challenges, while advanced digital capabilities ensured continuous and efficient last-mile delivery operations.
Indriyas also mentioned that the sector possesses high operational efficiency and adaptability despite global market uncertainties, adding: “Current capacity remains sufficient to meet market demands, supported by ongoing investments in fleet expansion, warehouse facilities, and technological solutions.”

In his remarks, Shahid Nadim, Managing Director of Zone Delivery Services, stated that Dubai’s success is not coincidental, saying: “The uninterrupted continuity of delivery services in Dubai is the result of long-term strategic investments, effective central coordination, and a private sector backed by advanced technologies.”

Nadim emphasized the importance of enhancing operational efficiency through the use of artificial intelligence, micro-fulfillment centers, and multi-modal logistics solutions, adding: “The logistics sector not only continues to grow but also possesses a remarkable ability to operate under pressure, which is a true distinguishing factor for the emirate.” He praised the government of Dubai for addressing operational challenges, streamlining regulatory processes through digital transformation, and managing disruptions through rapid and effective centralized responses.

Manoj Tiwari, Founder and CEO of Express Volcano Delivery Services, highlighted the sector’s strong performance and readiness for the future, stating: “The last-mile service system in Dubai currently operates at high efficiency levels, driven by robust infrastructure, extensive use of advanced technology, and a competitive environment comprising leading operators.”
What sets this system apart is its ability to continually expand and grow; through micro-fulfillment centers, optimized delivery routes, and data-driven planning, the sector is fully prepared to meet the increasing expectations of consumers and businesses without compromising speed or reliability.
Tiwari pointed out the supportive environment provided by the government, emphasizing that effective and proactive measures have been taken to address major challenges related to congestion and compliance, allowing operators to focus on improving execution quality while maintaining service excellence alongside expanding operations.

Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed Youssef, CEO of RAM Delivery Services, stated: “Dubai’s success is based on its strong infrastructure and flexible governmental regulations, along with advanced digital systems that have strengthened its leadership position.” He noted that the adaptability of delivery companies allows them to rapidly and efficiently expand their operations and ensure a smooth flow of services, even during peak demand periods.
Youssef expressed confidence in the sector’s future capabilities, saying: “The sector currently possesses strong operational capacities that enable it to meet demand efficiently; with ongoing investments in technology, fleet expansion, and the adoption of smart logistics solutions, the sector is fully prepared to keep pace with future growth and meet the expected increase in order volumes.”

In his remarks, Suhail Pirani, Managing Partner of Bolt Delivery Services, highlighted that the sector’s flexibility relies on Dubai’s advanced infrastructure and strong governmental support, along with the dedication and commitment of the workforce in this field. He stated: “Establishing the delivery sector as a vital industry, as demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been crucial in achieving this success.”
Pirani commended the government for providing stability, saying: “Thanks to the guidance of wise leadership and the quick response of the UAE government, operations have remained stable and on their natural course without disruption.
