The first baby born on Eid this year came into the world at 1:39 am at NMC Royal Hospital in Abu Dhabi. A healthy girl named Sila weighed 3.56kg at birth and was delivered naturally.Her parents, Rehaf Mohamed Mansour, a homemaker, and Ibrahim Abdel, a computer engineer, from Jordan, expressed immense happiness for their first child.“We are incredibly grateful to receive our precious Eid gift,” they shared with local media.Dr. Eman Sadek, an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist, confirmed that both mother and baby were doing well following a smooth delivery at 39 weeks. In addition, Dr. Eman Abdel Fatah Sade offered the hospital team’s congratulations to the family.“My Eid gift has arrived, and I am thankful to the entire team,” Rehaf stated in a follow-up interview.
Dubai: Two Couples Celebrate Their New Arrivals
In Dubai, Indian expatriates Nikita Paresh Wadka and Yogesh welcomed their son at 1:54 am at Prime Hospital, weighing 2.9kg.“We are thrilled that our first child shares his birth with such a significant occasion,” the couple commented to local media. Meanwhile, another Indian couple, Mansoor Ali and Haneena Saithammarakathu Lanchira Purayil, celebrated the birth of their son at Aster Hospital in Al Qusais at 4:39 am, with a birth weight of 3.320kg.“Having our baby boy born on Eid Al Adha makes this day extra special for us,” they remarked, extending their heartfelt thanks to the medical team at Aster Hospital.Dr. Chitra Gopalakrishnan, an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist, assured that both mother and child are in good health and recovering well.
