Fujifilm Middle East and Africa has inaugurated a new headquarters in Expo City Dubai, a forward-thinking urban area focused on innovation and sustainability. This new facility includes the Fujifilm Technology Center (FTC), dedicated to showcasing the company’s latest innovations and providing training, reflecting its future vision and commitment to enhancing connections with end-users and key partners.
The globally recognized company in healthcare, imaging, and printing leverages its extensive expertise and innovative solutions across several critical sectors within the region. Ken Okaniwa, the Japanese ambassador to the UAE, expressed enthusiasm about the new headquarters in Expo City Dubai, stating, “We welcome the establishment of this new office.”
This investment by the largest Japanese company in healthcare and imaging signifies the strong relations between Japan and the UAE, reinforcing the UAE’s strategic role as a leading global business hub. “We look forward to how Fujifilm’s innovations will empower the healthcare sector and advance various industries while enhancing human capabilities,” he added.
Manal Al Bayat, Chief Partnerships Officer at Expo City Dubai, remarked, “Fujifilm’s choice to set up its office and technology center here underscores the city’s reputation as a destination for global companies offering innovative solutions within the UAE and beyond. We warmly welcome Fujifilm to our innovation and sustainability-driven community and integrated business ecosystem.” Over the past five years, Fujifilm has doubled its workforce in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.
