Khazna Joins Forces with Nvidia to Accelerate AI Infrastructure Development

In a move highlighting the rapidly growing demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure, Khazna Data Center, a global leader in large-scale digital infrastructure, has announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA aimed at developing dedicated AI factories in the Middle East and Africa.

This significant collaboration follows the remarkable visit of former U.S. President Donald Trump to the United Arab Emirates, during which a joint venture between the UAE and the U.S. was announced to establish a 5-gigawatt AI complex. The partnership between Khazna and NVIDIA clearly indicates the strengthening ties between the region and major American tech firms, shaping the future of AI and digital infrastructure.

Under this partnership, NVIDIA has approved the new generation design of Khazna’s facilities, specifically tailored to support NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture. Future and existing Khazna projects will incorporate designs compatible with NVIDIA technologies, establishing these specifications as a fundamental standard for supporting workloads accelerated by modern graphics processing units.

Khazna plans to construct most future data halls with capacities reaching up to 50 megawatts, alongside the development of AI complexes capable of handling up to 250 megawatts each. The infrastructure of the new UAE-U.S. AI complex is expected to include several of these halls, boosting the UAE’s position among the leading global centers of AI in terms of development and efficiency.

Khazna continues its rapid geographic expansion across various regions, including the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, with plans to raise its capacity to 1 gigawatt in countries such as France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and Kenya.

Hassan Nasr, CEO of Khazna Data Center, stated, “The world is entering a new era of AI-driven innovation, and the UAE holds a unique position to lead in this field. In this context, our collaboration with NVIDIA represents a bold step towards delivering high-performance, future-ready infrastructure on an unprecedented scale. This partnership enhances our support for the UAE’s ambitions to achieve global leadership in AI.”
