Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, known as “Empower,” the largest district cooling service provider globally, has recently earned three prestigious international awards. Two of these are gold awards for “Total Number of Contracted Buildings” and “Total Contracted Area” for district cooling services outside North America. Additionally, the company received an honorary innovation award for utilizing machine learning technologies to enhance the efficiency of district cooling plants. These accolades were presented at the International District Energy Association (IDEA2025) conference and exhibition held in Minneapolis, USA, which saw active participation from various delegations and experts in the district cooling sector worldwide.
The International District Energy Association confirmed that Empower’s receipt of the gold awards was well-deserved, acknowledging that this is the eleven time the organization has achieved these honors, having previously received them in the years 2005, 2007, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Since its inception, Empower has amassed over 20 awards in various categories, alongside additional recognitions during different international conferences.
