Fly Dubai Suspends Flights to Five Countries in the Middle East

A spokesperson for Flydubai has announced that several of its flights have been affected due to the temporary closure of airspace over Iran and Israel, which began early on Thursday, June 13.

The spokesperson stated that as a result of this airspace shutdown, certain routes to Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, as well as Iran and Israel, have been suspended. Several flights have been canceled, rerouted, or returned to their original destinations.

Additionally, the airline is closely monitoring the situation in the region and is making necessary adjustments to its flight schedule. The safety of passengers and crew remains the top priority, and Flydubai is maintaining direct communication with travelers whose plans have been impacted.

Travelers are advised to ensure that their contact information is updated through the “Manage Booking” option, and to check their flight status on flydubai.com for the latest updates.
