Bitcoin.com Joins the Crypto Hub at Dubai Multi Commodities Centre

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has announced that Bitcoin.com, a global leader in cryptocurrency news, financial education, and self-custody digital asset solutions, has joined its Crypto Centre.
The establishment of Bitcoin.com’s first office in the Middle East and North Africa in Dubai further reinforces DMCC’s position as a global hub for innovation in blockchain and Web 3.0 technologies.

The Crypto Centre, located in Uptown Tower, hosts over 650 active companies involved in various aspects of the digital asset ecosystem and its value chain, including blockchain infrastructure providers, digital token platforms, metaverse solutions, and decentralized finance projects. With its comprehensive range of business services, mentorship programs, access to funding, and targeted accelerator schemes, along with exclusive partnerships with leading organizations in Web 3.0, the centre has become the largest cluster of digital asset companies in the region.

Through its user-friendly educational platforms and global news site, Bitcoin.com has raised awareness about the world of digital assets for millions worldwide. By strategically expanding into the region through the Crypto Centre, the company aims to capitalize on the momentum of Dubai’s digital economy and leverage its global expertise to accelerate the growth of the cryptocurrency ecosystem in the area. Billel Jsomma, Director of Business Ecosystems at DMCC, stated, “The DMCC Crypto Centre aims to attract the brightest minds and the most ambitious companies in the blockchain sector to shape the future of the digital economy from Dubai. Bitcoin.com’s decision to establish a regional headquarters here is a strong testament to the growing global appeal of our centre and the vast opportunities that Dubai offers today.”

Corbin Fraser, CEO of Bitcoin.com, remarked, “The UAE sets a benchmark in leading the digital asset sector. With Dubai’s clear and progressive regulatory frameworks, fast licensing processes, and a genuine commitment to innovation, the emirate provides a supportive environment suitable for businesses and firms engaged in Web 3.0 activities globally. The DMCC, in particular, is distinguished by its advanced infrastructure and integrated ecosystem in digital assets. We are excited to set up our first regional headquarters here in Dubai and look forward to building strong partnerships throughout the region from our new base at DMCC.”

The DMCC Crypto Centre serves as a key gateway for Web 3.0 technology companies, providing access to an international business zone with over 25,000 active companies across various sectors. Currently, DMCC is home to over 3,200 technology-focused companies, with more than 800 operating within its integrated innovation and technology ecosystem.
