Dubai International Arbitration Centre Accelerates Innovation in Partnership with Jus Mandi and Jus AI

The Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) has announced a collaboration with Jus Mundi to advance leadership in artificial intelligence and innovation. This partnership aims to equip the centre with cutting-edge AI tools, specifically Jus AI, to enhance operational efficiency and streamline procedures.

As part of this collaboration, the DIAC’s case management team will receive training on utilizing Jus AI—an AI-supported legal research and workflow management tool developed by Jus Mundi. This initiative seeks to help the centre refine its case management processes by leveraging advanced AI capabilities, thereby improving the speed, consistency, and quality of arbitration services offered.

To reinforce its commitment to transparency and knowledge sharing, DIAC plans to publish its decisions related to appeals on the Jus Mundi platform, allowing the international arbitration community to benefit from them.

The partnership will also initiate a variety of joint initiatives aimed at fostering leadership development between the DIAC and Jus Mundi. These efforts will focus on encouraging dialogue around innovation in dispute resolution, providing legal education programs, and creating new opportunities for professionals, academics, and practitioners in arbitration across the United Arab Emirates and globally.

Notably, Jus Mundi will support DIAC in launching its virtual academy, using its expertise in AI to offer practical insights into technologies that significantly improve arbitration practices.

Jihad Kazem, the Executive Director of DIAC, stated, “We are confident that this partnership will bring substantial value to the international arbitration community. Through this collaboration, we aim to empower parties, legal practitioners, and arbitrators with the necessary knowledge and tools to enhance the effectiveness of the arbitration framework by disseminating reference materials and utilizing advanced technologies provided by Jus Mundi.”

Jean-Rémy Du Meister, the CEO of Jus Mundi, commented, “We are honored to partner with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, a leading arbitration hub in the region, not only to make legal materials accessible to all but also to aid in enhancing the centre’s capabilities in AI. Together, we will empower the arbitration community with innovative AI tools that will shape the future of dispute resolution.”
