The airline continues to solidify its position in the long-haul travel market, operating five of the ten longest non-stop flights in the world using A380 aircraft, outpacing other carriers in terms of the number of long-distance flights within this category.
The list of the top ten longest A380 flights starts with Emirates’ service from Auckland to Dubai, which takes 17 hours and 25 minutes, placing it at the top of the global rankings.
Following closely is Qantas’ flight from Dallas/Fort Worth to Sydney, with a flying time of 17 hours and 15 minutes.
In third and fourth places, Emirates makes a strong showing with its flights from Dubai to Houston and Dubai to Los Angeles, both taking 16 hours and 20 minutes, further establishing its robust presence in the U.S. market. Qantas takes the fifth position again with its flight from Los Angeles to Sydney, which lasts 15 hours and 55 minutes.
In sixth place is Emirates’ flight from Dubai to San Francisco, clocking in at 15 hours and 50 minutes.
The seventh spot is held by Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, with their flight from New York (JFK) to Seoul Incheon, which takes 15 hours and 40 minutes. Another Qantas flight from Los Angeles to Sydney occupies the eighth position, with a duration of 15 hours and 20 minutes.
