Air Arabia has launched its inaugural direct flights to the Russian city of Sochi, operating six times a week. This new route marks the sixth Russian destination added to the airline’s offerings from Sharjah, alongside Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Ufa, and Yekaterinburg, strengthening the airline’s growing presence in the Russian market.
The CEO of Air Arabia, Adel Ali, stated that the introduction of direct flights to Sochi represents a significant step in expanding their reach within Russia. This new service provides customers with a convenient and economical travel option between the UAE and Russia.
Moreover, it contributes to enhancing tourism and trade relations between the two countries, making Sochi a valuable addition to the airline’s expanding network in Russia and demonstrating their ongoing commitment to providing more travel opportunities for their clients.
He added that the UAE is one of the key destinations served by Sochi Airport, and with the inclusion of Sharjah, it becomes the third Emirati city in their network, further bolstering the growing ties between the two nations.
With Sochi now part of Air Arabia’s destinations, the airline operates flights to Russia from three airports in the UAE: Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah.
