Dubai Airport Prepares to Welcome 3.4 Million Passengers During Summer Peak

Dubai International Airport is preparing for the peak summer season, with expectations that passenger numbers will exceed 3.4 million between June 27 and July 9. The daily average is projected to surpass 265,000 travelers, with July 5 anticipated to be the busiest day for departures and transit passengers.

In response to this high-traffic period, Dubai Airports, in collaboration with strategic partners, has launched a comprehensive plan aimed at ensuring smooth travel experiences while maintaining guest safety.

Despite the current regional conditions causing some flight delays and cancellations, the airport community, known as oneDXB, is working tirelessly to provide necessary support to traveling guests and to ensure the continuity and efficiency of services.

These efforts are reinforced by a real-time monitoring and forecasting system that enhances the effective use of human resources and operational infrastructure.

Dubai Airports continues to closely monitor developments in coordination with relevant authorities and airline partners, prioritizing the safety of all guests and staff at all times.

Travelers during the upcoming days are advised to follow these essential tips for a smoother journey:

– Families traveling with children over the age of 12 can use smart gates to expedite passport control.
– It is recommended not to arrive at the airport more than three hours prior to the flight.
– Utilizing online check-in, self-service kiosks, and luggage drop-off at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport is encouraged.
– The DUBZ service allows guests to check in and receive their luggage from home or hotel, making the process more convenient and effortless.
– Keep track of flight updates and departure gates using the DXB Express map, a guidance platform that helps navigate the airport easily by scanning a QR code.
– Support services for individuals with disabilities are available, including dedicated accessibility pathways and specialized assistance for guests wearing sun bracelets, provided by trained staff, as well as a designated travel lounge in Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport.
– Travelers can enjoy all the facilities at Dubai International Airport upon arrival, including dining options, duty-free shopping, and designated lounges for relaxation before their flight.
