Abu Dhabi and India Customs Explore Ways to Streamline Bilateral Trade

The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs hosted a workshop featuring an official delegation from India, led by Aarti Agarwal Srinivas, the General Director of Systems and Data Management at the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs within the Indian Ministry of Finance. The event included several representatives from the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, aimed at exploring ways to enhance collaboration in facilitating bilateral trade, improving supply chains, and discussing mechanisms to support the digital trade corridor between the two nations.

Participants also met with Rashid Lajeh Al-Mansoori, the Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs. The two sides engaged in discussions about mutual customs cooperation and strategies to accelerate the digital transformation within the customs sector, which would contribute to improving procedural efficiency and ensuring smooth movement of goods across borders.
