The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has reported a significant growth of 43% in the number of new companies established during the first half of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024. The agency indicated that 8,506 new businesses joined the RAKEZ community from January to June this year, in contrast to 5,933 companies during the corresponding timeframe last year.
Rami Jallad, CEO of RAKEZ, stated that the majority of the new enterprises are operating in vital sectors such as management consulting, information technology, marketing, e-commerce, general trade, food and beverage, and construction materials.
Currently, RAKEZ hosts over 35,000 companies from more than 100 countries.
