Sharjah Chamber Concludes Trade Mission to India to Enhance Industrial Cooperation

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, through the Sharjah Export Development Center, has concluded its business mission in India. This involved organizing meetings and discussions with various officials from economic bodies and institutions in Ahmedabad, located in the Indian state of Gujarat. These activities were part of the “Business Forum” held in the second phase of their trade mission, highlighting the potential for strengthening economic partnerships and expanding industrial and investment collaboration between the private sectors of both nations.

The forum was attended by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber, Walid Boukhater, second vice-chairman, Jamal Ben Houiden, a board member, Abdulaziz Al Shamsi, assistant director general for communication and business, Ali Al Jari, director of the Sharjah Export Development Center, and Jamal Bouzngal, director of institutional communication.

Abdullah Al Owais emphasized that holding this forum in Ahmedabad aligns with efforts to strengthen the already significant economic and trade relations between the two countries, which are experiencing rapid growth.
