The Ajman Chamber recently engaged in discussions with Husein Baigis, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the UAE, focusing on ways to enhance economic and trade collaboration, as well as investment growth between the two nations. The talks also explored opportunities for participation in specialized events and exhibitions held in both countries.
This meeting took place yesterday at the Chamber’s headquarters, with the presence of Salem Al Suwaidi, the General Director of the Ajman Chamber; Mohammed Al Janahi, Executive Director of Member Support Services; Khalid Al Shamsi, Director of Economic Studies and Information; and Fatima Yakub, Head of Investment Attraction. Representing the Indonesian Embassy were Stevia Idira Putri, First Secretary for Economic Affairs; Eko Nugroho, Financial Attaché; and Widi Haryono, Head of the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Dubai.
Al Suwaidi emphasized that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed between the two nations paves the way for new opportunities in trade and mutual investments, facilitating pathways for businesspeople and investors from both countries. This collaborative effort is anticipated to bolster economic growth and expand areas of partnership in sectors of mutual interest.
