UAE Accounts for 52.1% of Japan’s Oil Imports

In June 2025, Japan’s imports of oil from the United Arab Emirates surpassed 31 million barrels, accounting for 52.1% of the country’s total oil imports. According to data from the Natural Resources and Energy Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, Japan imported a total of 59.6 million barrels of oil during that month.
