Registration Opens for Participation in the Global Summit on the Green Economy

The Global Summit on the Green Economy has announced the opening of registration for participation in its events and sessions. Experts, specialists, and stakeholders involved in climate action are invited to register and contribute to efforts aimed at supporting the most effective and innovative solutions to combat climate change, as stated in a recent press release.

The summit is held annually under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It is organized by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and the Global Green Economy Organization.

This year, the eleventh session will take place on October 1 and 2, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the theme “Impactful Innovation: Accelerating the Future of the Green Economy.” The summit aims to expedite the transition towards a low-carbon economy and to foster a more resilient and sustainable future.

The focus of this year’s summit will be on priority areas including energy transformation, reducing the effects of climate change, adaptation strategies, sustainable financing, and innovation within key themes: technology and innovation, clean and renewable energy sources, policies and regulations, financing, climate justice, climate adaptation and resilience, as well as youth and climate action.
