Titan Acquires 67% Stake in Damas

Titan Limited, a subsidiary of the Tata Group and the owner of the Tanishq brand, has announced its acquisition of a 67% stake in Damas Jewellery, which is based in Dubai.

In an official statement, Titan confirmed that the acquisition was completed through Titan Holdings International, a fully owned entity of Titan, which operates 146 Damas stores across the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.

This acquisition significantly strengthens Titan’s presence in the jewellery market within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

While Damas will continue to operate under its own brand identity, this partnership is expected to lead to the introduction of new jewellery collections and improved operational integration.

This acquisition marks a key milestone in enhancing Tanishq’s footprint in the Gulf region.
