Dubai Airshow Explores Smart Transformation in Businesses and Airports on November 17

The Dubai Airshow 2025 has unveiled the agenda for its accompanying conference, aimed at sparking innovative ideas, addressing industry transformations, and accelerating advancement within the aviation, space, and defense sectors.

This event will take place from November 17 to 21 at the Dubai Airshow venue within Dubai World Central, featuring over 350 expert speakers who will deliver more than 90 hours of live content across 12 designated tracks.

According to a press release issued today, the conference agenda spans four interactive platforms, reflecting the evolving priorities of the sector to meet future demands while continuing to address current critical issues.

This year’s edition of the conference introduces six new tracks to keep pace with industry shifts, covering topics such as maintenance strategies, smart transformations, digital innovations in airline and airport operations, emerging challenges in cybersecurity, new airport technologies, workforce development, and a dedicated program called “Future Aviation: Empowering Women,” which is designed in collaboration with the International Aviation Women’s Association.

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, stated, “The Dubai Airshow 2025 gathers prominent leaders from the global aviation sector at a time when the industry is striving to set new standards in how people and economies connect. As the host of keynote sessions for airports and airlines, Dubai Airports takes pride in contributing to a future vision centered on innovation, sustainability, and new models of global interaction. The event provides a premier platform for ambitious planning and partnerships that will shape the future of air travel worldwide.”

For the first time, with support from Dubai Airports, the keynote sessions for airports and airlines will highlight influential leaders in the global aviation sector.

The list of speakers includes Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates, Tony Douglas, CEO of Etihad Airways, among others who will discuss air traffic growth, digital transformation, airport strategies, and new methodologies in flight safety.

Ivan Bassato, Chief Aviation Officer at Rome Airports, remarked, “The Dubai Airshow is a leading global platform for innovation in the aviation sector, and our participation focuses on advanced air mobility. Dubai symbolizes excellence in airport infrastructure and air operations, as well as its leading role globally in advanced air mobility.”

The UAE Space Agency will return to participate in the event through a two-day space conference, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, security, and innovation.

Brian Cobb, Chief Innovation Officer at Cincinnati/NKY International Airport, commented, “The Dubai Airshow is an ideal event for forging partnerships that support economic growth and elevate global communication standards from America to flight paths around the world.”

The sustainability track will explore the future of eco-friendly aviation over two days, focusing on advanced aircraft, clean fuels, and policies that support building a climate-neutral aviation future.

Timothy Hows, Managing Director at Informa Markets, stated, “The airshow serves as a vital platform for exchanging ideas and showcasing innovations that will define the aviation, space, and defense sectors for this decade and beyond.”

The maintenance, repair, and overhaul track debuts this year, addressing modern technologies, evolving business models, and growth opportunities, providing attendees with actionable strategies.

The academy platform will highlight critical topics such as cybersecurity risks, technological innovations, and workforce inclusivity.

The “Next Generation Leaders” series offers students and young professionals a chance to outline the future of the aviation sector.

The advanced air mobility track is of great significance, showcasing the latest technologies, policies, and partnerships that introduce new concepts around aviation. Meanwhile, the passenger experience sessions will focus on how the aviation sector can enhance service levels, providing smoother journeys, smarter services, and stronger communication capabilities.

Adam Goldstein, founder and CEO of Archer Aviation, expressed, “We are eager to participate and showcase Archer’s latest solutions, starting with our current flight testing program in Abu Dhabi, as we continue to lead globally in shaping the future of mobility alongside our partners in the UAE.”
