Arada Company has awarded a construction contract worth 618 million dirhams to build the Anantara Sharjah Resort and Anantara Sharjah Residences, a new destination located on the Al Hira beach in Sharjah.
The construction works will be executed by Intermas Engineering and Contracting over a period of 24 months. The site preparation and foundation work are already completed, with construction ongoing for the project, which will feature a luxurious five-star hotel along with 128 upscale residential units under the Anantara brand.
Arada will oversee the development of the project, while Minor Hotels will operate both the Anantara Sharjah Resort and Anantara Sharjah Residences, which are distinguished by their unique architectural design, including a main entrance specifically designed to align with the sun’s path.
Situated in the northeastern corner of Al Hira beach, which is one of the prominent tourist destinations in Sharjah, the project boasts a 3.5-kilometer waterfront along with various recreational facilities, including jogging and cycling trails, as well as a selection of upscale restaurants and cafes.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, the CEO of Arada, stated that awarding this contract is a pivotal step towards developing one of the premier luxury destinations on the northern coast of Sharjah.
He noted that the project will enhance the emirate’s appeal to international visitors and homeowners seeking a luxurious lifestyle by the waterfront. The Anantara Sharjah Resort and Anantara Sharjah Residences mark the first entry of the Anantara hotel brand into Sharjah.
