Baker Tilly Global, recognized as one of the top ten networks in accounting and consulting services worldwide, has officially launched its new company in the United Arab Emirates. Based in Dubai, this new entity aims to strengthen the network’s presence in one of the key strategic markets in the region, under the management of the newly appointed CEO and managing partner, Saad Maniar.
This initiative highlights Baker Tilly Global’s ongoing investment in the Middle East and Africa, capitalizing on the dynamic economic landscape of the UAE, its advanced infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks. Clients in the region will now have access to global insights presented through a local lens, combining international standards with deep market knowledge.
Speaking on this occasion, Saad Maniar stated, “Becoming part of the esteemed Baker Tilly Global network marks a significant milestone in our journey towards excellence. With the rapid pace of change and increasing client expectations, this step opens new avenues for delivering high-value solutions that make a tangible difference for our clients. We look forward to exploring opportunities for knowledge exchange, enhancing collaboration, and fostering innovation.”
Francesca Lagerberg, CEO of Baker Tilly Global, commented, “The Middle East and Africa are central to our global growth strategy. The expertise and distinguished reputation of our firm in the UAE reflect our core values, as they enhance our regional presence and empower us to support our clients with seamless, integrated solutions that meet their needs across various markets.”
This announcement coincides with a series of leadership appointments that underscore Baker Tilly’s commitment to the Middle East and Africa. In 2023, Chakib Zaari, the founder of Baker Tilly in Morocco, was appointed as the regional president for the Middle East and Africa, while Gagik Gyulbudaghian assumed the role of regional director. The two are collaborating to enhance international business growth and develop the services and capabilities offered by the network across the region.
