Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Advances Technology and Innovation Systems in Financial Technology

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has formed a strategic partnership with the Swedish fintech leader, Fermiculus. This memorandum of understanding is aimed at propelling innovation and establishing Dubai as a pivotal global hub for technology and trade, by supporting nearly 26,000 companies within its integrated business ecosystem.

Under this collaboration, both parties will explore the potential for utilizing critical fintech solutions tailored for exchanges, clearinghouses, and central securities depositories. This includes executing joint projects and launching initiatives for knowledge transfer and expertise sharing. This new cooperation aligns with DMCC’s broader technology strategy, cementing its role as a facilitator and key supporter of AI solutions across various economic sectors.

Founded in 2019, Fermiculus boasts decades of accumulated knowledge in developing next-generation cloud-based systems specifically designed for exchanges, clearinghouses, and central securities depositories. By combining advanced system designs with AI-supported features, Fermiculus enables financial institutions to manage their operations with unmatched flexibility, scalability, and efficiency, ensuring their sustained growth and continuity.
