During the second quarter of this year, the center successfully resolved 443 settlement cases, amounting to a total financial settlement of 190.7 million dirhams, with an average resolution time of six days per case. This underscores the effectiveness of the center’s mechanisms in handling rental disputes efficiently and transparently.

In April 2025, the center completed 144 settlement agreements worth 43.132 million dirhams, demonstrating its capability to resolve disputes quickly and efficiently while ensuring fair treatment for all stakeholders.

The performance improved in May, with 191 settlements completed totaling 18.255 million dirhams. June 2025 was particularly noteworthy, achieving 108 agreements with financial settlements reaching 129.334 million dirhams. This record figure indicates a growing trend in the amount contested and the timely resolution of disputes, reinforcing its position as a key platform for resolving real estate conflicts in Dubai.

Judge Abdulkadir Mousa Mohammed, head of the Rental Dispute Center, stated, “These results reflect our steadfast commitment to enhancing judicial efficiency and amicable settlement mechanisms while ensuring justice and protecting the rights of all parties involved. We align with the vision of the Dubai government to create an attractive and safe real estate environment for investors and residents, and we strive to provide innovative solutions that support stability in the real estate market and ensure fairness between landlords and tenants.”

The figures indicate the crucial role of the Rental Dispute Center in ensuring justice between parties in the rental relationship. It actively contributes to alleviating legal and social pressures while fostering a stable investment environment through mediation and amicable settlements, thus positively impacting the overall stability of the real estate market.

Officials at the center affirm that these achievements have been made possible by adopting the latest administrative and legal practices, as well as close cooperation with government entities and the private sector, which has allowed for the provision of flexible solutions in a timely manner that meets the expectations of both tenants and owners.

As the center continues to enhance its services and expand its range of settlements, its role remains pivotal in supporting the Dubai government’s objectives for a comprehensive real estate environment based on transparency and fairness, strengthening trust among all parties involved.

These results exemplify the ideal model for dispute management at the highest level of legal professionalism, while preserving rights and interests, and affirming the leading position of the Rental Dispute Center as a fundamental pillar in the real estate justice system of the emirate.
