According to data released by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics, the value of exports from the UAE to Saudi Arabia reached approximately 14.6 billion riyals in the second quarter of this year.
This marks a 22% increase in UAE exports to Saudi Arabia compared to the same quarter last year.
The UAE accounted for 69% of Saudi Arabia’s total goods imports from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The data indicates that Saudi Arabia’s goods imports from GCC nations totaled 21.2 billion riyals in the second quarter of 2025, reflecting a 12% rise compared to the same period in 2024.
Oman ranked second with about 3.6 billion riyals during this period, showing a 14% increase.
Bahrain was in third place with 2.4 billion riyals, which is a decline of 21%.
Kuwait followed in fourth, exporting 355 million riyals, an increase of 5%. Meanwhile, Saudi imports from Qatar dropped by 49% to 262 million riyals, placing it in fifth position.
