Emirates SkyCargo Implements Precise Mechanisms to Monitor Cargo Transport Performance Metrics

Emirates SkyCargo has intensified its efforts to implement precise mechanisms for monitoring its performance metrics in the transportation of various shipments. The company has reaffirmed its commitment to the highest standards of excellence by entering into a service quality agreement with Kuehne+Nagel, one of the largest logistics firms globally.

This agreement establishes ambitious performance targets for timely shipment delivery, while also highlighting several tracking and performance measurement indicators, such as the NFD score, which ensures that shipments are delivered as anticipated and that recipients receive updated information.

As a participant in the Cargo IQ program of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 2018, Emirates SkyCargo employs rigorous data-driven performance management strategies to assess its operational effectiveness and the quality of services provided to clients and partners.

Under this system, Emirates SkyCargo reports on over 90% of its shipments across its network, and consistently ranks among the top performers in the industry, even as it handles a higher volume of shipments and monitors more cargo compared to many other members.

From January to April 2025, the company achieved an average score of 96%, according to Cargo IQ reports, marking one of the highest ratings among 30 airlines that were monitored.
