3,200 British Investors in RAKIZ

Ramzi Jalad, the CEO of RAK Economic Zone, announced that the RAK business community currently includes over 3,200 British investors.

The RAK Economic Zone successfully concluded a promotional tour in the United Kingdom, enhancing its relationships with the British business community while showcasing the growing appeal of the emirate.

Headed by Jalad, the delegation held a series of meetings with companies involved in manufacturing, advanced technology, luxury goods, and fast-moving consumer goods.

The discussions reflected a heightened interest in the attractive investment environment that Ras Al Khaimah offers, combining economic efficiency, advanced infrastructure, and easy access to regional markets.

During the tour, RAK Economic Zone participated in several key business platforms, including the “Doing Business in the UAE” event organized by the British Chamber of Commerce at the University of Manchester.

Additionally, the RAK team attended the “British-Emirati Stakeholder Reception” in London, which brought together government and executive leaders to discuss the evolution of trade and investment relations between the two countries.

Jalad stated, “At RAK, we believe that global success begins with creating a conducive environment that enables companies to grow flexibly and build effective relationships. During this tour, we highlighted Ras Al Khaimah’s positioning as not just an alternative choice, but a true competitive advantage, supported by a comprehensive support system provided by RAK.”

He added that the RAK business community currently hosts over 3,200 British investors, with active investment from the UK growing by over 37% in the past two years. This reflects the increasing recognition of Ras Al Khaimah as a reliable and effective destination for expansion into regional and global markets.

Among the notable British companies thriving in RAK are “Ahmad Tea,” which produces millions of tea bags daily and exports to over 80 countries, and A2C, a leader in refurbishing laptops within a circular economy model, with a production capacity of 50,000 units per month.

Also included is “Special Composite,” which provides advanced aviation training equipment serving markets across Asia and the United States. The list features innovative and leading companies such as “Polar Manufacturing,” specializing in carbon composite materials.
