Emirates Airlines has announced the resumption of its flight operations following a temporary suspension that took place earlier this morning (March 16, 2026). The airline confirmed that it will be operating a limited flight schedule during this period.
The company indicated that several scheduled flights for today have been canceled, and affected travelers will receive notifications regarding their canceled flights, along with guidance on alternative booking options.
Passengers are encouraged to check their flight status on the airline’s official website before heading to the airport to ensure that their flight is still confirmed as per the original schedule.
Additionally, the airline has made it possible for customers to modify their bookings or rebook flights online within 72 hours prior to their original departure times. This can be done through the “Manage Booking” section on the website or via the Emirates app.
The airline noted that if online rebooking is not successful, customers should directly contact customer service. Travelers who made their reservations through travel agencies are advised to reach out to the respective agency for assistance in rescheduling their flights.
Emirates Airlines concluded its announcement by expressing apologies to travelers for any inconveniences caused by the flight suspension.
