The retail markets in Dubai experienced a significant surge in activity yesterday, bolstered by discounts and promotions introduced by shopping malls, retail chains, and open markets, leading to a sales boom.
Thousands of visitors flocked to commercial centers and markets throughout the emirate, enjoying a lively atmosphere perfect for families. The improvement in weather also encouraged an influx of visitors, both from other regions and local residents.
Numerous stores and retail chains offered exclusive deals in celebration of Eid al-Fitr, featuring price reductions, cash prizes, and gift giveaways. The promotions encompassed a wide array of consumer goods, including household items, clothing, gifts, furniture, perfumes, cosmetics, and footwear. Additionally, discounts were available on electrical and electronic devices.
The markets were crowded with shoppers, particularly during the evening and after Iftar. Jewelry stores saw a notable increase in foot traffic, aided by the decline in global gold prices, which further boosted jewelry sales. A variety of designs and offers, including pieces with lower fabrication costs, contributed to this rise.
