Sultan Al Jaber: UAE Industry Enters a New Global Phase Fueled by Innovation and Artificial Intelligence

Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, as well as the Managing Director and CEO of ADNOC and its group of companies, emphasized that visionary leadership not only outlines the future but actively creates it. He noted that the priorities of our economy are revitalized with a clear vision and limitless ambition.

In a post on social media platform X, Al Jaber stated, “With our proactive leadership, which not only shapes the future but also brings it into being, our economic priorities are rejuvenated with a clear vision and boundless aspirations. Today, our national industry is entering a new qualitative phase, expanding beyond local roles to emerge as a significant global player, supported by exceptional resilience and a growing national content driven by demand for local products, along with artificial intelligence redefining the competitiveness of the UAE and confidently guiding it into the future.”

He indicated that this transformation is based on several fundamental pillars, chiefly the increase in domestic content and the direction of demand toward local products, which enhances the competitiveness of Emirati industries and solidifies their presence in global markets.

Artificial intelligence is highlighted as one of the key drivers at this stage, contributing to the redefinition of productivity and efficiency concepts while supporting the development of industrial value chains, providing the UAE with a competitive edge on the international stage.

Additionally, Al Jaber mentioned that these trends reflect a renewed economic focus based on innovation and sustainability, aligning with the nation’s ambitions to build a diverse economy rooted in knowledge and technology, capable of achieving sustainable growth and enhancing the UAE’s position as a global industrial hub.

He assured that the upcoming phase will witness an accelerated pace of industrial transformation, emphasizing the adoption of intelligent solutions and the strengthening of international partnerships to ensure the continued evolution of the sector and increase its contribution to the national economy.
