DXB Live Plans to Host 442 Events with 33% Growth in 2025

DXB Live, the organization and event management arm of Dubai World Trade Centre, experienced a 33% growth in its business volume during 2025, successfully organizing and managing a total of 442 events. These events included 84 exhibitions, 16 conferences, 26 entertainment, sports, and music activities, 3 fashion shows, 6 corporate events, and 13 graduation ceremonies, alongside 186 outdoor events held throughout the UAE.

In the realm of specialized exhibitions, the company continued to host several prominent international events, including the World of Coffee exhibition, which saw its fourth edition attract around 17,000 professional visitors from 78 countries. The size of this exhibition has quadrupled over four years, with the 2025 edition covering 20,000 square meters — a 30% increase compared to the previous year.

The company also expanded its activities beyond the UAE, organizing the Bahrain Coffee Festival in partnership with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, which attracted over 10,000 visitors in its inaugural edition.

In terms of conferences, DXB Live organized 16 international meetings, including the General Conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), which encompasses over 50,000 members across 137 countries, and the Universal Postal Union (UPU) conference under the United Nations, involving 192 countries.

The Global Police Summit organized by the company in collaboration with Dubai Police attracted 922 police leaders, specialists, and diplomats, with total attendance exceeding 53,922 from over 110 countries, marking a 300% increase from the previous edition. Furthermore, DXB Live hosted the MEIDAM International Conference on Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine in Dubai, having launched the conference’s first edition in Morocco, along with various scientific, health, and commercial events.

In the design and construction of exhibition platforms, DXB Live executed 286 display stands for companies and governmental bodies, covering a space of 450,000 square feet both within the UAE and abroad. This included 44 stands in 13 global cities, such as Australia, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Italy, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Additionally, the company organized various cultural and community events, including the Hatta Cultural Nights in support of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority and the Hatta Gathering in collaboration with the Community Development Authority and Brand Dubai.

Khalid Al Hammadi, Executive Vice President at DXB Live, stated that the impressive performance in 2025 reflects the growing role the company plays in supporting the exhibition and events industry in Dubai and the region, showcasing a blend of operational expertise and innovative solutions for event design and execution. This success indicates an increasing trust in their services from organizers of major exhibitions, conferences, and events both regionally and internationally.

Throughout 2025, DXB Live provided integrated event services for several large global exhibitions and conferences, including GITEX Global, GITEX Africa, GITEX Berlin, Gulfood, Beauty World, Automechanika, Saudi Food Exhibition, and the Arabian Travel Market, among others.

Moreover, the “Global Encounters” festival was held at Dubai World Trade Centre, utilizing a space of 120,000 square meters and attracting over 100,000 visitors from 85 countries over the course of 9 days. The event featured 4,000 artists and athletes along with 3,500 volunteers across 9 dynamic areas of entertainment, sports performances, and cultural exhibitions, facilitated by preparations that included 15 stages and 1,500 square meters of LED screens, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global events capital with the announcement of the festival’s return in 2028.

DXB Live also received three accolades at the Middle East Events Awards 2025, including Best Community Event for the “Hatta Cultural Nights,” Best Design and Build of a booth under 100 square meters for the “Fujifilm” stand at Medlab Expo, and Best Budget-Friendly Event for organizing the Dubai Coffee Festival, which drew over 20,000 visitors.
