ADNOC Drilling announced yesterday that its board of directors has approved the appointment of Abdullah Al-Masabi as the new CEO of the company. He will succeed Abdulrahman Al-Saiari, the current CEO, who is set to retire at the end of this year after over 45 years of service with ADNOC and ADNOC Drilling. Al-Saiari will remain available in an advisory capacity until year-end to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of operations.
Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, the managing director and CEO of ADNOC Group and chairman of ADNOC Drilling, expressed his gratitude towards Abdulrahman Al-Saiari, stating, “We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Abdulrahman for his outstanding service to both ADNOC and ADNOC Drilling over the past four decades.
