Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Explores Strengthening Ties with Malaysia

Sheikh Mohammed bin Kaid Al Qasimi, the head of the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah, welcomed Dato Tengku Seraj Zaman, the Malaysian Ambassador to the UAE, along with his accompanying delegation at the department’s headquarters. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Al Shaib Al Naqbi, the Director General of the department; Mohammed Al Mahmoud, the Assistant Director General; Aisha Al Ayani, the Director of Business Development; and the media team.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Kaid emphasized the significance of the meeting in exploring opportunities for mutual cooperation between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and Malaysia, while also showcasing the investment prospects available on both sides. These efforts are aimed at supporting the strategic objectives of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Department, which seeks to enhance the emirate’s competitiveness and attract investment.

He pointed out that Ras Al Khaimah is recognized as a major economic destination for foreign investments due to its flexible regulations and incentives that help bolster competitiveness. He reaffirmed the department’s commitment to providing all necessary support to Malaysian investors and enhancing communication channels between the private sectors of both nations.
