Abu Dhabi Chamber Launches Its Strategic Program for Engaging Economic Partners

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched a strategic communication program aimed at establishing and strengthening relationships with key economic partners in Abu Dhabi and around the globe. This initiative represents the beginning of a constructive dialogue with strategic partners that will help facilitate sustainable partnerships, effectively enhancing the private sector’s role in supporting the emirate’s economic development.

As part of this program, a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Chamber, led by Shams Ali Al Dhaheri, the second vice-chairman of the Chamber’s Board and managing director, conducted a site visit to three prominent industrial centers in the emirate, specifically the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), the Metals Complex, and the Chinese-Emirati Industrial Cooperation Zone known as “JOSIC”. These centers are fundamental pillars for realizing Abu Dhabi’s industrial strategy goals and attracting foreign investments into the country.

The focus of the visit was to support and empower key partners in the industrial sector, which is a vital element of Abu Dhabi’s economic diversification strategy and a significant driver of innovation and sustainable growth.

Agreement

During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Abu Dhabi Chamber and the Jiangsu Province Foreign Cooperation and Investment Company, known as JOSIC, to enhance economic collaboration between Abu Dhabi and China. This agreement opens new avenues for private sector companies and facilitates the establishment of direct partnerships between the two sides.

This memorandum aligns with the Chamber’s role in providing supportive services, legal consultancy, training, issuing certificates of origin, and connecting businesses with potential partners, thereby enabling local companies to forge new partnerships.

Shams Al Dhaheri stated that the program aims to establish effective and impactful partnerships that achieve sustainable economic value.

He remarked, “We highly value the contributions of KEZAD, the Metals Complex, and JOSIC in supporting the industrial sector in Abu Dhabi, which is a key driver of sustainable economic development. We strive to enhance Abu Dhabi’s standing as a leading global hub for investment and innovation, while also supporting the competitiveness of the local private sector. The signing of the cooperation agreement with JOSIC is a direct outcome of this program.”
