Innova, a company specializing in energy management solutions and multiservice technical services, has announced a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management. This collaboration aims to combine Schneider Electric’s advanced technologies—including microgrids, photovoltaic solar systems, and electric vehicle charging infrastructures—with Innova’s extensive experience in energy efficiency strategies and sophisticated asset management systems.
This partnership comes at a significant time when regional efforts to reduce carbon emissions in business practices and transition to cleaner, more flexible energy systems are intensifying. Both companies share a commitment to achieving tangible results in energy efficiency and emissions reduction.
Renault Cabri, CEO of Innova, stated, “As we rapidly progress towards a sustainable energy future in the Gulf region, our collaboration with Schneider Electric enables us to integrate advanced technologies and energy efficiency solutions, enhancing our service portfolio and increasing the value we provide to our clients.”
Since its establishment in 2002 as a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim and Veolia, Innova has helped clients across the region save over 530 million dirhams in energy costs while reducing carbon emissions by more than 580,000 tons.
Cabri further commented, “Together, we are uniquely positioned to empower our clients across various sectors to enhance their energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in alignment with the environmental goals set by Innova’s stakeholders, including Veolia’s strategic GreenUp program. This partnership also contributes valuable support to the region’s environmental objectives.”
Amal Al Shazly, Head of Schneider Electric for the Gulf region, noted, “As countries in the region increasingly focus on reducing carbon emissions in business and developing more flexible energy systems, it is crucial for companies across sectors to improve their energy consumption and maintain a healthy, productive environment while modernizing their old facilities.”
She added, “Our collaboration with Innova is based on our commitment to establish a new standard for carbon emissions reduction in the region by enhancing the integration of technology and expertise, aligning with our shared goal of supporting businesses in achieving transformation through sustainability, innovation, and operational resilience.”
This partnership is expected to facilitate the adoption of smart technologies and support the integration of renewable energy into the core operations of companies. Additionally, it will enable organizations to effectively contribute to regional objectives aimed at expanding clean energy and efficiency initiatives through Schneider Electric’s EcoFit and EcoCare programs, which focus on updating outdated systems.
By merging Schneider Electric’s technologies with Innova’s asset and technical operations management capabilities, the two companies will provide future-ready solutions that meet the evolving sustainability demands of clients.
