This initiative aims to enable family businesses to efficiently access specialized advisory services across essential management and operational areas.
The guide serves as an effective means to connect family businesses with 56 dedicated family business advisors. It includes a diverse selection of experienced consultants within two primary categories: those with extensive practical experience in family business consulting and those holding certifications in family business consulting and family wealth advisory, offered in partnership with the Family Firm Institute (FFI).
Family businesses interested in leveraging specialized advisory expertise can utilize this guide to select consultants across various administrative fields and economic sectors. Relevant areas covered include family and governance frameworks, restructuring, leadership succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, mediation and conflict resolution, among others.
The guide features a profile for each family business consultant, outlining a brief professional biography, consulting certifications related to family businesses, specialized areas, and direct contact information.
In 2023, the Dubai Family Business Center also launched a certification and accreditation program for consultants, in collaboration with the Family Firm Institute, a leading global organization in research, studies, and thought leadership initiatives concerning family businesses.
This accreditation program offers certifications to qualified consultants whose expertise can enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of family businesses. The center has developed a certification and accreditation system for family business consultants, in partnership with the institute, to create a recognized list of advisors that family businesses can rely on when needed.
The partnership provides Dubai Family Business Center members with the opportunity to participate in the Global Education Network’s certification program, which includes family business consulting certification (CFBA) and family wealth advisory certification (CFWA). Participants will benefit from skill development opportunities aimed at better serving their family business clients.
Established in May 2023 under Dubai Chambers, the Dubai Family Business Center aims to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of family businesses in Dubai.
