UAE Ranks Among the Top 20 Globally in the AI Race

The United Arab Emirates has secured a spot among the top 20 countries nurturing talent in the field of artificial intelligence, as indicated by the Global AI Competitiveness Index released in collaboration with the International Financial Forum and the Deep Knowledge Group.

According to the report, the UAE accounts for 0.7% of the global AI talent pool, ranking 16th overall among the leading nations.

Saudi Arabia follows closely, standing at the 19th position with 0.4%.

These figures underscore the UAE’s rapid ascent as a significant player in the global AI sector and highlight the broader region’s commitment to transforming into global hubs for technological innovation.

The Global AI Competitiveness Index is a joint initiative between the International Financial Forum and the Deep Knowledge Group.

It is worth noting that the International Financial Forum is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 2003, driven by the G20 countries alongside leading international institutions, including the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.

Conversely, the Deep Knowledge Group is a global research center that focuses on artificial intelligence, health technology, and innovation within advanced industries.
