Ras Al Khaimah’s Economic Department Enhances Employee Skills with 2212 Training Hours

The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah has announced that its employees completed a total of 2,212 training hours during the first half of this year. This achievement is part of the annual plan aimed at enhancing and developing human resources.

Nabila Al Zaabi, the Director of Support Services, emphasized that investment in training and development is a cornerstone of the strategic plan. It contributes to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the workplace, while also enhancing institutional readiness to adapt to the rapid changes in government work dynamics. She highlighted that 112 employees participated in various training programs.

The training programs covered essential areas such as customer service, community responsibility, legal regulations, and anti-money laundering, aligning with the requirements of modern institutional work and improving overall organizational performance. In addition, employees contributed 315 volunteer hours during the same period by engaging in various community initiatives and events.

The Director of Support Services also noted the department’s commitment to supporting university students through practical training programs. A total of 16 students from different universities and colleges in the country were welcomed and trained, with programs designed to provide them with real-world skills that prepare them for the labor market efficiently and confidently.
