Abu Dhabi to Host the “Reuters Next-Gulf” Summit on October 22

In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, the inaugural “Reuters Next – Gulf” summit will take place on October 22, 2025, at the St. Regis Resort on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. This event will bring together a distinguished group of government officials, business leaders, financial sector representatives, civil society, media, and experts from cultural and academic fields to discuss the key challenges and opportunities in the global economy. The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development is committed to fostering economic growth and diversification by enhancing partnerships with various institutions to create suitable platforms for exchanging ideas and experiences, aiming to shape a more prosperous future.

More than 500 business leaders, innovators, and CEOs are expected to participate in the first edition of the summit, engaging in discussions about the challenges that affect and define the business sector, society, and the world at large. The event will feature over 40 prominent speakers and experts, including Dr. Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the UAE President; George Gravvritis, the Foreign Minister of Greece; Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, the Foreign Minister of Nigeria; Lana Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs and the Minister’s Envoy; Mohammed Alabbar, Founder and Chairman of Emaar; Ding Chao, CEO of HashKey Capital; and Abdulrahman Tarabzoni, CEO of STV.
