Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Gas PLC signed a three-year agreement with the German company, Uniper, to supply 0.7 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG), with the initial shipments set to commence this year.
The total value of this contract is expected to reach up to 1.5 billion AED (approximately 400 million USD) over its duration, highlighting ADNOC Gas’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in global markets. The LNG supplies specified in this agreement will be sourced from the Das Island liquefaction facility, one of ADNOC Gas’s strategic assets.
Since its operational launch in 1977, this facility, which has an annual production capacity of 6 million tons, has dispatched over 3,500 shipments of this essential resource to various global destinations, enhancing ADNOC Gas’s strategic relationships with key partners in the energy sector.
Fatima Al Naimi, the CEO of ADNOC Gas, stated that this agreement represents significant progress in strengthening the long-term partnership with Uniper.
