Business groups focused on the education sector in Ajman convened for a collaborative meeting to explore avenues for enhancing the educational environment. The discussions highlighted the importance of fostering partnerships between universities and schools, reviewing teacher licensing procedures, and integrating artificial intelligence technologies, along with future skills, within the educational framework.
The meeting was hosted at the chamber’s headquarters, welcoming members of the education sector business groups, including Salem Al-Suwaidi, the chamber’s Director General, and Mohammed Ali Al-Junaidi, Executive Director of Member Support Services.
Dr. Karim Al-Saghir, Chair of the education sector business groups and President of Ajman University, led the session, accompanied by Jumaila Kajour Al-Naimi, Manager of Member Relations and Support at the Ajman Chamber, along with other educational representatives from Ajman.
Dr. Al-Saghir emphasized the pivotal role of education sector business groups in advancing the sector, enhancing service quality, and aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs. He noted that the education sector is a central component of Ajman’s Vision 2030.
During the session, the results from the previous meeting were confirmed, and the latest tools and technologies in education and research were reviewed as measures to improve teaching quality and foster innovation. The attendees recommended the establishment of a joint task force to identify key strengths and challenges faced by the education sector.
