Ajman Chamber Introduces “Export in One Step” Initiative

In the presence of Abdallah bin Touq, Minister of Economy and Tourism, and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Moujayi, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce, unveiled the “One-Step Export” initiative during the second “Zero Bureaucracy Meeting” held in Dubai. The event was attended by Mohammed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services in the UAE, along with representatives from federal and local entities.

Al Moujayi emphasized that the Ajman Chamber is committed to achieving zero bureaucracy, viewing it as an essential goal to ensure the delivery of innovative services and initiatives that simplify processes.

During the announcement of the “One-Step Export” initiative, the Chamber detailed the expected benefits and targets aimed to be achieved through this initiative, which is set to significantly enhance export procedures. The first phase of the initiative will involve 10 partners from federal and local government bodies to streamline the client experience by allowing applications for 10 services through a unified platform. This will reduce the number of required procedures from 38 to 19 and cut the documentation needed from 27 to 8. Many services will be expedited to be completed within just two working days instead of the previous five, with the possibility of immediate and on-the-spot service delivery depending on the type of service.
